Halsey got Britney Spears’ “blessing” to sample “Lucky” on her new song – MOViN 92.5

HalseyThe upcoming song “Lucky”, which is due to be released on July 26, interpolates Britney Spears“, and Halsey says Britney gave her the green light.

In response to a fan’s question on social media platform X: “Has Britney reacted to your song yet? Have you included her at all?” Halsey replied replied“Yes, of course! Without your blessing I wouldn’t even dream of it!”

Halsey too told A fan asked if her upcoming album would contain different genres, saying that the record was “all mixed up.” She explained, “When I started writing it, I thought it might be the last album I could ever make. So I tried to do what I’ve always wanted to do but hadn’t tried yet.”

As for the inspiration behind the album, Halsey explained She told another fan that her health struggles were a big part of it. “I’ve written a lot about what I’ve been through. I felt like I couldn’t tell anyone, even though it was mostly my choice not to,” she wrote.

“But the weight of it all and looking at my life and wondering if I’m happy with who I am. While at the same time changing against my will. More on that later, lol.”

When asked how many tracks the album contains, she replied: wrote“Too many, I’m told. lol.”

The singer also hinted at a return to touring. When a fan asked if a tour was “realistic” given Halsey’s health issues, she replied: wrote“I *run* to the stage.”

And when a fan asked how Halsey’s son reacted Ender has his mother’s music, she wrote“I used to listen to demos/mixes in the car when I drove him to his little preschool and sometimes he would say, ‘Mommy, that’s a REALLY GOOD song!’ haha.”
