Love Island fans fear ‘scary scenes ahead for Mimii’ as graffiti threatens

Love Island viewers fear devastating scenes await Mimii Ngulube when the controversial series ‘Grafties’ airs on Sunday night.

The Grafties are viewer-voted awards for the show’s favorite moments. Past categories have included things like “Unfinished Business” and “Epic Fail.”

This threatens to jeopardise Mimii’s relationship with Josh Oyinsan, as her clumsy attempt at a secret rendezvous in the stands with her ex Ayo Odukoya is expected to play a role.

Ever since Joey Essex dropped a bombshell in the villa by mentioning the “secret mission” Mimii had set him up on behind Josh’s back, Love Island fans have been worried that her relationship with Josh is on the verge of breaking up.

Mimii was originally dating Ayo, but after he left her for Jess Spencer in Casa Amor, there was still unfinished business between the two – despite her new romance with Josh.

Viewers enjoyed seeing the couple commit to each other on a date in Friday’s episode, but their happiness is cast in a shadow as Josh is unaware that Mimii has been trying to arrange a secret meeting with Ayo behind his back.

Mimii had asked Joey to pick up Ayo for a meeting on the terrace and was seen crawling on the floor to stay hidden from the other islanders, but was embarrassed when Ayo declined the invitation.

Although Josh and Mimii have now agreed that they are not allowed to meet anyone else on the show, it looks like the Grafties – which is set to air on Sunday – could spill the beans after Mimii insisted to Josh that there was no secret mission.

Lola and Harry stayed behind for each other. (ITV)

The series is racing towards the finale, with the final re-pairing taking place on Friday, leaving contestants in the pairs they hope can win.

There were few surprises for viewers, as most stayed with their current partner. However, Reuben Collins swapped Lola Deluca for his former partner Grace Jackson, so Lola was now with fellow sex bomb Harry Baker.

Although Grace and Reuben were thrilled to be back together, there were awkward scenes between Harry and Lola as he described their new partnership as “not bad news” and “it is what it is.”

Love Island airs at 9pm on ITV2.
