Dan Campbell’s face is art.

The legend of Campbell, the fourth-year head coach of the Detroit Lions, continues to grow in Michigan, and his face is now carved into a corn maze somewhere in central Michigan.

Campbell’s face, adorned with a “GRIT” hat and a full Lions mane, as well as the popular team slogans “Go Lions” and “One Pride” are etched into a maze near Williamston… we think. According to the park’s Facebook page, it was mistakenly called the Bestmaze Corn Maze.

The post states: “The artwork is AMAZING! But we always design a maze for ‘best maze flow and experience’, not ‘best maze image’. The maze location will be announced soon, I’ll just say it’s nearby.”

Campbell helped the Lions have their best season in 32 years last season, as recognized in this Free Press book, which included two playoff victories – doubling their total of one win between 1958 and 2022.

On Wednesday, the Lions will hold their first full-team practice for the 2024 training camp. Their tryout season begins on August 8 at the New York Giants. They will open the season on September 8 on “Sunday Night Football” with a wildcard rematch at Ford Field against Matthew Stafford and the Los Angeles Rams.
