The Suits The spin-off series is officially moving forward!

On Friday (July 19), NBCUniversal announced that Suits: LA. – the upcoming legal drama set in the same universe as the original drama series – has been picked up as a series order.

The upcoming series of Aaron Korschthe creator and author of the original series, will play the lead role Stephen Amell, Josh McDermitt, Lex Scott DavisAnd Bryan Greenberg.

Accordingly DeadlineTed Black is described as a “charismatic force of nature who puts his own needs above those of others. Fifteen years ago, the former New York prosecutor teamed up with his old buddy Stuart Lane to build a law firm in Los Angeles specializing in criminal and entertainment law.”

In the new series, his company is in crisis and in order to survive, he must take on a role he has despised his entire professional life. Ted is surrounded by a cast of outstanding characters who test their loyalty to both Ted and each other as their personal and professional lives cannot help but intermingle. All of this happens while the events of years ago that caused Ted to leave everything and everyone he loved behind slowly unravel.

So far, NBC has not officially announced when Suits: LA will premiere.
