In July 2014 “Weird Al” Yankovic released his #1 — and final — album, Obligatory fun. To mark his tenth anniversary, he has released a four-minute polka medley called “Polkamania!”, which includes some of the pop hits that have become ubiquitous since his last music release.

The medley consists of a total of 12 songs: “bad guy”, “Hello”, “Flowers”, “We Don’t Talk About Bruno”, “vampire”, “Old Town Road”, “Despacito”, “Shape of You” , “Uptown Funk,” “WAP,” “thank u, next,” and “Shake It Off.” Taylor Swift Hit is the oldest and came out in the same years as Obligatory funbut Al says vulture why he chose this one and not something more recent by Taylor.

“That was the hardest decision because of course I really wanted a Taylor Swift song. I almost went with ‘Anti-Hero,'” says Al. “But if you had to choose one Taylor Swift song based on which is the most iconic, which is the most quoted, which is the most identified with her, it would probably be ‘Shake it Off.’ So I thought I’d go with that, even though it’s the oldest song in the medley.”

“Shake It Off” is the last song in the medley, and in the accompanying In the music video, there’s an animated sequence where Taylor rejects Al’s romantic offers of flowers and heart-shaped balloons. Eventually, he grabs her by the leg, forcing her to, yes, shake him off.

The video ends with Travis Kelcewearing Taylor’s bodysuit that opened the Eras Tour, she holds Taylor up. Then she and Travis join Al, who is at the accordion. She plays trumpet and Travis plays clarinet while they wear traditional German lederhosen. This has to be seen to be believed.

(The Taylor animation starts at 3:31 in the video.)
