School supplies

If you have school-age children, you know how extensive the school supply list can be. Instead of waiting for the typical back-to-school sales in August, buy school supplies now. There is a much better selection and you can often find good prices since demand is lower in the summer.

School supplies at Sam’s Club include pencils, pens, paper, notebooks, highlighters, post-it notes, glue sticks and more. School uniforms

As back-to-school season approaches, you’re probably shopping for new clothes, too. If your child has a school uniform, Sam’s Club is a great place to find uniform-appropriate clothing.

“College and NFL sports merchandise is available right now, but if you wait until the fall, you’re unlikely to get anything,” Cid said. “From tailgating gear to apparel, you can score great prices on merchandise from your favorite teams.”

Halloween decoration

Some people may think it’s too early to buy Halloween decorations, but if you’re planning on buying new items this fall, then summer may be a good time to buy them in advance. Halloween decorations can sell out quickly as the holiday approaches.

Sam’s Club is selling a Member’s Mark set of five pre-lit pumpkin path lights for under $20 that would make a great decoration in your front yard.
