Ariana Grande’s brother defends her despite rumors

The brother of former “Voice” coach Ariana Grande defended her after some TikTok users accused her of being a cannibal.

“HAHAHAHAHAHA. Wow! This might be the most creative and lowest point you’ve ever been. We reach new depths everyday,” Frankie Grande posted on X on July 11.

“Look, I know my sister has been seducing girls for years, but this is a bit extreme!
She’s also vegan. See you on tour,” he added.

His comments came after a few different posts surfaced on social media sites suggesting that Ariana Grande is hiding a big secret. The rumors started when someone said that human remains were found in a house previously owned by the “God Is a Woman” singer.

The rumor about Ariana Grande’s house went viral – and it seems like some people fell for it.

“So am I the only one who was years old today when they found out Ariana Grande sold such a (expletive) house in 2017, 2018? Where police found human remains and evidence of cannibalism there? (expletive) The media did a great cover-up because boy what the (expletive)?” one TikTok user said in a video shared to X. The original video appears to have been deleted.

Many fans on X defended Ariana Grande, accusing the TikTok user of spreading information without evidence. However, a screenshot of the original post (also shared on X) suggests that some fans believed the rumors.

The rumors in question seemed to stem from Ariana Grande’s appearance on Penn Badgley’s podcast “Podcrushed.” She recalled a time when someone asked her who she would have dinner with if she could choose anyone – and she said Jeffrey Dahmer.

“Like, you know, maybe with a third party or something. I have questions. I want to, I have a lot to do, I don’t know,” she said, adding that she finds Dahmer “fascinating.”

After Frankie Grande’s comments about his sister, dozens of fans reacted on Reddit.

“Making up stupid rumors is a joke (a totally funny one in my opinion). When tickets went on sale for the Eras tour, there was one about Taylor Swift saying she and Harry Styles committed manslaughter (since Taylor references Styles’ bad driving several times on her 1989 album). Frankie, it’s not her fault you don’t have a good sense of humor,” one person wrote.

“Why would Frankie lie and say she’s vegan? Ariana herself confirmed on Zach Zang’s podcast in 2017 that she’s no longer vegan. She just recently got takeout from this non-vegan place and got some sort of salad bowl with bacon and cheese in it,” said another.

“This is exactly what needs to be addressed. Is this a joke that every celebrity hears? Everyone knows it’s a running joke,” said a third comment.

“She’s definitely not vegan but she might still be plant-based. Lol I have friends who are vegan and go to Korean BBQ with me and eat beforehand. They just go with our group to be social. Ari is not vegan for many reasons but this isn’t necessarily one of them,” a fourth Redditor added.
