The main roles in the series are played by the singer-songwriter Masayoshi Yamazaki (left in the picture right, Kiseki no Hito) as Ayumu Mitsuya and Taisei Sakai (Right, Ohsama Sentai King Ohger) as Tomoya Ishida.

The “human gourmet love story” begins when Tomoya Ishida, a young editor at a women’s magazine who still feels insecure in his work environment, is asked by a more experienced colleague to take over the reins of a regular food column written by an old man named Ayumu Mitsuya. Ishida decides to pay Mitsuya a visit, and as he gets to know Mitsuya, he sees him as a charming, witty gentleman with a sweet side who can cook a delicious dish. Ishida’s interactions with Mitsuya gradually make the younger editor feel more comfortable with his job, and he begins to see Mitsuya as not just a work partner, but something else entirely.
