Author Gail Simone has given us a first look at three pages of her upcoming “Action Comics” series, featuring great illustrations by Eddy Barrows, Danny Miki, and Rex Lokus.
In a post on her social media accounts, Simone said: “Okay, so I’ve been raving about art that I haven’t been able to show… until today.”
“These are colored pages drawn by the incredible Eddy Barrows, inked by the wonderful Danny Miki, and colored by the amazing Rex Lokus. I can say with 100% honesty that of all the giants and legends I’ve worked with, these are without question some of the most beautiful and exciting pages I’ve ever had for a story I’ve written.”
“I have asked permission to show these pages. I ask that you click on them so you cannot see them as thumbnails. They are incredible.”
“And I say with full conviction: THESE ARE NOT EVEN THE MOST INCREDIBLE PAGES. I am so happy, honestly to Rao!”
Gail Simone’s story will appear in Action Comics #1067-1069, which will be released on July 10, August 14 and September 25. The issues will also feature a back-up story by Rainbow Rowell.
