Chris Hemsworth celebrates his wife Elsa Pataky’s 48th birthday!

On Thursday, July 18, Hemsworth, 40, posted four adorable and funny snaps on Instagram to mark the special occasion.

“Happy birthday to this gorgeous lady ❤️❤️@elsapataky,” the MCU star wrote in the caption.

The first photo showed the couple on the set of Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga co-stars, with Pataky posing as one of her two characters, Mr. Norton. She also played the role of Vuvalini General. In the snap, Hemsworth hugged his wife and grinned broadly while wearing his warlord Dementus costume in the Australian outback.

In another photo, the couple enjoyed dinner with their three children: 12-year-old daughter India Rose and 10-year-old twin sons Sasha and Tristan.

Hemsworth also included a photo of Pataky with a sweet smile amidst rocks and shells.

Hemsworth rounded off the post with another photo of him and Pataky on the set of Thor: Love and Thunder. Pataky posed as Wolf Woman and Hemsworth as the “God of Thunder”. In addition to the leading role in Thor: Love and ThunderPataky also appeared in Thor: Ragnarok as a Sakaaran nurse.

Hemsworth told PEOPLE in early May that when the couple works together, “it’s like date night,” adding, “I love it. I love spending time with her… especially in a creative space.”

At Hemsworth’s star ceremony on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in late May, he thanked his wife for all her support.

“I want to thank my wonderful wife, who has been by my side basically throughout my entire career, always encouraging and supporting me,” he said. “And I can’t forget that she put her own dreams aside to support mine, and once again, I am forever in her debt.”

“The fact is, none of what I do, none of these moments, these special occasions and events, are special without you by my side. I love you,” he added.

Hemsworth and the Spanish actress met in 2010 and married within a few months. The couple had their first child together, daughter India, in 2012, and twin sons Tristan and Sasha were born in 2014.
