Pierce Brosnan’s estranged son Christopher was spotted making a rare public appearance 20 years after his father reportedly “cut him off.”

Christopher, who has been known to struggle with addiction, was spotted leaving a grocery store on Friday.

The 51-year-old actor wore a red hoodie under an olive green puffer vest, navy sweatpants and grey Converse sneakers.

Photos show Christopher with a shopping bag from a Waitrose store in London.

The British-born man with the serious expression on his face had hidden his shoulder-length hair under a navy blue flat cap, which he wore backwards.

In photos, the reclusive Brosnan can be seen walking with a slight stoop, carrying a reusable Waitrose bag in one hand and his phone in the other.

Christopher was born to Cassandra Harris and her ex-husband Dermot Harris, but was adopted by the James Bond star in 1986 when Dermot died.

In addition, the 71-year-old “Mamma Mia” actor also adopted Christopher’s late sister Charlotte Brosnan when Brosnan married Cassandra in 1980.

Christopher worked with his famous father on several cult films such as Tomorrow Never Dies (1997), The World Is Not Enough (1999) and Robinson Crusoe (1997).

Tensions between father and son escalated when Christopher’s drug abuse, an overdose and run-ins with the law forced the Hollywood actor to distance himself from him.

In 2005, the “Mrs. Doubtfire” actor spoke about his estranged son.

“Christopher is still very lost. Shockingly. I know where he is, but he has a hard life,” he told Playboy Magazine.

“I can only have great faith and believe that he will recover. He has tested everyone in the family, but no one more than himself. He knows how to get out of this. He doesn’t want to.”

According to Brosnan, the whole ordeal was “painful” and he said the experience left him “insulated.”

“You never cut them off completely,” he noted, “but I cut Christopher off. I had to say, ‘Go. Get busy living or get busy dying.’ He has my prayers.”

In 2022, the bond between father and son seemed to be strengthened again, as Christopher paid tribute to his father in a touching Father’s Day post.

“My eternal love goes out to you, dear sons, Paris, Dylan, Sean and Christopher,” he wrote under a photo of himself with the first three.

“Thank you so much for your love this Father’s Day.”

Previously, Pierce Brosnan was recently seen preparing for his latest role in a photo in which he was unrecognizable.

In his Adidas tracksuit and white sneakers, the 70-year-old looked completely different than he usually does in his dapper role.

During the filming of the movie “Giants” he played the role of Irish-born boxing trainer Brandan Ingle.

Brosnan filmed on location in Yorkshire in the north of England, the home of cult boxer “Prince” Naseem Hamed, whom Ingle trained to become a star.
