The Royals add variety by playing a Taylor Swift song during Changing the Guard

Taylor Swift will kick off her first of eight “Eras Tour” shows in London on Friday night – but the British city is already ready for it.

The royal family’s official X-Account posted a video of the British Army performing a rendition of Swift’s “Shake It Off” during the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace on June 21.

“Can’t stop, won’t stop grooving,” the royal family said in a post on X with the video.

London Zoo also commemorated Swift’s arrival in the city on Instagram with three throwback photos from her visit to the zoo in 2012.

“A different era at London Zoo,” London Zoo wrote in the caption. “She visited us in 2012 and is now back in London for the biggest tour ever.”

The zoo added that Swifties with an “Eras Tour” ticket can receive 25% off a day pass to the zoo from June 21-30, before Swift herself is invited back.

“Whenever you want to visit @taylorswift and @taylornation next time, we are ready,” the zoo said.

Swift, 34, previously visited the Sydney Zoo two days in a row while performing her “Eras Tour” in Australia’s biggest city. She was spotted with boyfriend Travis Kelce one day and spoke about the visit during an onstage duet with her opening act, Sabrina Carpenter.

“We had 100% of our days off,” Swift said while sitting next to Carpenter, based on a video from the concert. “I’m actually really into the red panda. I don’t think you guys understand how cool kangaroos are because you have so many. They’re so cool, so strong. So bouncy.”

Swift is scheduled to play eight concerts at London’s 90,000-capacity Wembley Stadium in June and August. She has recently performed across the UK, including in Cardiff, Liverpool and Edinburgh.

During her 100th “Eras Tour” performance in Liverpool, the singer confirmed that the tour would end in December.

“This is the very first time I’m admitting to myself that this tour will end in December,” she said.
