Taylor Swift fans think she sang a Travis Kelce mashup in Germany

Fans are convinced that Taylor Swift performed a mashup dedicated to her boyfriend Travis Kelce during her concert in Germany on Wednesday.

The Grammy winner chose a combination of her songs “Invisible String” and “Superstar,” while Kelce sat in the audience at the Veltins Arena in Gelsenkirchen.

Swift wrote 2009’s “Superstar” about falling in love with a star at the peak of his career, although it was previously rumored to be about her ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas.

“And all the girls in the front row are screaming your name / So dim the spotlight / Tell me things like / ‘I can’t take my eyes off you’ / I’m nobody special / Just another wide-eyed girl / Who’s madly in love with you / Give me a photo to hang on my wall / Superstar,” she sang.

The pop superstar then released “Invisible String” in 2020, which is about how fate brings two people together. It was presumably written about her then-boyfriend Joe Alwyn.

“Time, strange time / Gave me no compass, gave me no signs / Were there clues I didn’t see? / And isn’t it lovely to imagine / All along there was an / Invisible connection / That bound you to me?” she sang.

Concertgoers quickly shared snippets of the surprise medley on social media, and it wasn’t long before fans at home theorized that Swift, 34, had combined the two songs to serenade Kelce, also 34.

“The IMPACT of combining Superstardom and Invisible String. The superstar status that bound them together years before they met… the inevitability of their mutual awe… yet the ability to see each other clearly through the haze of fame… I’m not OK,” wrote one fan on X.

“Taylor took ‘Invisible String’ off the set list after only four shows (on her Eras tour) because it was too painful to sing… since she sang it tonight, I think singing it doesn’t hurt anymore because Travis IS HER soulmate. She was always committed to him, it just took us a while to find each other,” gushed another.

“She literally said this is Travis’ last show, screw it, Superstar x Invisible String,” someone else wrote before Kelce’s training camp with his team, the Kansas City Chiefs.

“SUPERSTAR AND INVISIBLE STRING, WITH TRAVIS IN THE AUDIENCE I’M GONNA GET IN TRAFFIC,” joked another.

“Superstar x Invisible String with Travis in the audience… nobody talks to me,” commented one fan.

“TAYLOR USES SUPERSTAR TO MAKE AN INVISIBLE THREAD OVER TRAVIS,” another speculated.

Visitors to the Eras Tour had previously speculated that Swift mixed a mashup of the songs “Mary’s Song (Oh My My My)”, “So High School” and “Everything Has Changed” for Kelce during her concert in Amsterdam earlier this month.

During the July 7 show in Amsterdam, it even seemed as if the Super Bowl champion was wiping tears from his eyes.

Kelce traveled to Germany just days before returning to training in Kansas City, Missouri.

During Wednesday’s show, the tight end was seen watching his girlfriend from a private suite and waving to fans.

After Swift finished the concert, the two were seen leaving the building together in an emotional manner.
