“God’s New Parables,” a new book by Summer Reyes, is published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

“God’s New Parables” contains five short stories with life wisdom and spiritual growth for all ages.

Conscious of the fact that what we take in with our ears and eyes is manifested in our souls and expressed in our actions and behavior toward others, this book was given in several visions in color by God through the Holy Spirit, to be completed for the edification of His children and for generations to read and share with the next generation.

The author prays that those who read these parables will pray and then apply them to their daily walk of life and return to their first love, the one who chose everything about them perfectly, for we are all awesomely and wonderfully made! To God be all the glory!

Summer Reyes is an ordained minister, wife, grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, and most of all, a believer. She has been married to her husband Paul for 28 years and together they have two wonderful adult children and an amazing grandson, as well as two pit bulls, six chickens, and two rabbits.

Reyes attends church on Sundays and enjoys helping in her community, serving and praying for others, and helping at her church’s food and clothing pantry. In her free time, she enjoys drinking coffee while listening to God’s wonderful music (birds) in the morning, driving to the Texas coast with her family, and gathering with family and friends. She finds joy in everything, especially meeting and talking with other people and making others smile.

For Reyes, the path with Heavenly Father always comes first, as she believes that He sets the health and tone for all other relationships.
