Nike and Barcelona release a new 24/25 home jersey for the club’s 125th anniversary

In 2024, FC Barcelona will celebrate its 125th anniversary. To mark the occasion, Nike has designed a kit inspired by the club’s heritage, history and origins. To do this, they went all the way back to the beginning and the first team kit from 1899, which was 50% made up of the iconic Blaugrana colours – a look that has been imitated several times throughout the club’s history, perhaps most notably on the 1999 anniversary kit.

Following in the footsteps of the 1999/00 anniversary shirt, the new home shirt features the club crest centrally on the chest. Unlike that anniversary shirt, however, the Swoosh branding remains on the right side of the chest and, of course, the Spotify sponsor logo is in the middle. Both are in gold tones. Darker navy tones line the design on the collar and cuffs.

The 2024/25 FC Barcelona men’s and women’s kits will be made from Dri-FIT ADV, Nike’s highest quality technical pieces. Thanks to the work of the Nike Sport Research Lab (NSRL) and data collected using advanced body mapping technology, this season’s kits bring mobility, breathability and ventilation exactly where they’re needed.
