College football star suffering from cancer seeks help from the community

The Troy University Star, a redshirt junior and former four-star recruit, should be making headlines for his dazzling skills as a deep threat. Lewisoriginally committed Kentucky before switching to Troyproved to be one of the most electrifying wide receivers in the nation last year. He grabbed 32 catches for a breathtaking 735 yards and ten touchdowns, leads the country with a breathtaking 22.97 yards per catch. The financial burden, even with insurance, was enormous. But the college football community, which has always been a close-knit family, quickly rallied around him.
