49ers player George Kittle shares funny request from Taylor Swift to Travis Kelce – NBC Sports Bay Area & California

Christian McCaffrey and Olivia Culpo’s June 29 wedding ceremony made headlines for everything from Kyle Shanahan’s new mustache to Cam Newton not being invited.

But there is one more piece of information that was recently shared that – in typical George Kittle fashion – is a little out of the ordinary.

During the 49ers star’s July 10 appearance on the Rich Eisen Show, Kittle revealed an … interesting request for fellow star tight end Travis Kelce, involving Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift.

“We were in Rhode Island for the wedding and right next to where we were staying was Taylor Swift’s house,” Kittle explained.

“I texted Travis and said, ‘Hey, I have to go to the bathroom, do you mind? Did Taylor leave a key somewhere?'”

This should come as no surprise to 49ers fans given Kittle’s sense of humor, the same player who compared his teammates to Pokémon and quoted memes in postgame interviews.

Fortunately for Swift, and probably to the relief of her fans, Kittle did not follow through on his plan for a Swift outing.

“(Kelce) said, ‘You can try to get in, but I think security will get you out,'” Kittle continued. “I was like, yeah, okay, I’m not going to try that.”

Kittle is used to subjecting his body to numerous blows and injuries over the course of an NFL season, but he mentioned that he doesn’t want to add a taser to his list of woes.

Probably a good call from him.
