Samsung’s Live Translate now works with third-party voice calling apps

Samsung recently announced that the Live Translate feature, which is part of Galaxy AI, will soon be available for third-party apps. Well, that just happened as it now works with third-party voice calling apps.

With One UI 6.1.1, the AI-powered Live Translate feature now works with Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Google Meet, Signal, KakaoTalk, LINE, and WeChat, and we might see support for more apps in the future.

Live Translate translates voice from a supported language to a preferred language supported by the feature in real time. Samsung says user data remains private because processing for Live Translate is done on-device.
