Joe Jonas announces solo album “For People Who Believe in Love”.

Joe Jonas is ready to share his innermost thoughts with the world.

On Wednesday, July 17, the Jonas Brothers member announced that his new solo album Music for people who believe in love, The release is scheduled for October 18th.

“This album is a celebration of gratitude, hope and love. These songs reflect my life from a bird’s eye view and acknowledge the many blessings around me,” Joe, 34, said in a press release.

“If we take a moment to breathe, pause, and reflect on the positive, I hope we can find acceptance and ultimately peace in the present moment,” he continued. “It’s OK to cry and grieve a loss – it’s part of the process of taking care of ourselves and ultimately allows us to be there for the people we care about.”

In the statement, the singer-songwriter further explained that the album would address his “experiences as a father, as a friend to myself and others, and the happiness I’ve found in making a living doing what I love.”

Then he remembered an incident that stayed with him forever – and served as inspiration for the album.

“A director I once worked with had a handwritten note above his camera while we were shooting that said, ‘What do you want them to feel?’ That question still resonates with me when I go on stage or compose new music,” he said. “The ability to perform, build a deep connection with the audience and evoke positive emotions or even healing is a gift I cherish.”

He concluded by saying, “This album is a reflection and celebration of life. I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it. Enjoy!”

On Friday, July 19, Joe will release the album’s first single, titled “Work It Out.” He first teased the song in May in a TikTok clip titled “even the baddies get saddies.”

During a performance at Jake Shane’s Therapuss In the July 11 podcast, Joe talked in detail about how the album came about: a studio session with Alexander 23, Justin Tranter and other musicians that resulted in a song.

“I listened to it and I was like, ‘Damn, I really like this song,’ and I felt like, ‘I don’t know why, but I want this song for myself,’ not just for the (Jonas) Brothers, and I also feel like it’s not by DNCE, another band I’m in. I was like, ‘I don’t know what it’s for, but I know I want to work on something. I feel emotionally drawn to working on music.'”

Before Joe continued the project, he released his first solo album. Fast life, in 2011 – spoke to his brothers Nick and Kevin. “I asked my brothers for their blessing,” he said. “I said, ‘I don’t want to call it Solo, but I want to do something of my own, and I don’t feel like it’s DNCE, and I just need to express things for myself.’ And they said, ‘Do it.’ Nick booked a movie, Kevin wanted to do another season of Claim to fameand so I had this window of time.”

After getting their approval, he got to work and finished the album in two to three weeks: “I’m just really excited. It’s the most personal music I’ve ever released.”
