After announcing a new solo single, “Work It Out,” which will be released on Friday, Joe Jonas has now revealed details about his new solo album.

Called Music for people who believe in love, The album Will be out October 18 and is available for pre-save now. In a detailed statement, Joe says, “This album is a celebration of gratitude, hope and love. These songs reflect my life from a bird’s eye view and acknowledge the many blessings around me.”

He continues, “It’s OK to cry and grieve a loss – it’s part of the process of taking care of ourselves and ultimately allows us to be there for the people we care about. This album is about the experiences of being a father, being a friend to yourself and others, and the happiness I’ve found doing what I love for a living.”

Joe continues, “A director I once worked with had a handwritten note above his camera while we were filming that said, ‘What do you want them to feel?’ That question still resonates with me when I go on stage or compose new music. The ability to perform, build a deep connection with the audience, and evoke positive emotions or even healing is a gift I cherish.”

Joe sang “Work It Out” for the first time when Jonas Brothers performed at the Calgary Stampede in Canada on Saturday.

Joe previously said the album came about because he wrote a song he wanted to put on a JoBros album, but then decided he wanted it for himself. When he found out he had a little more time, Nick And Kevin were involved in other projects, he got their blessing and recorded the entire album within a few weeks.
