Chris Harrison says Travis Kelce is a great partner for Taylor Swift

Chris Harrison explains why Travis Kelce is the “perfect” counterpart to Taylor Swift.

After spending time with the 34-year-old Chiefs tight end in Lake Tahoe at the American Century Championship presented by American Century Investments, Harrison, 52, talked about the superstar pair on the July 17 episode of his podcast. The most dramatic podcast ever with Chris Harrison.

“He’s having a blast, but he does a really good job of showcasing himself, not hiding and not pretending he’s bigger,” Harrison said of Kelce.

“He actually said: No, I’ll drink a beer with you and take a picture. I’ll sign your chest, whatever,” said the former Bachelor The host continued, adding that he “really admires” the way Kelce is “handling” his newfound fame.

“He’s embracing it. He’s having a blast,” said Harrison, recalling an earlier segment on his show in which he explained “why (Kelce) would be perfect for (Swift).”

Harrison said: “He’s not as big a star as her, but he’s got just as big a personality and he enjoys everything that comes with Taylor Swift’s great spotlight. He can handle it.”

Kelce’s life has “changed exponentially because he’s dating the most famous woman in the world,” Harrison said, adding that it’s also been “incredible” to see how his brother Jason’s life has changed as well.

“I know he’s a big personality too. He’s, you know, an instant Hall of Fame inductee, one of the best offensive linemen of all time and so on, and a Super Bowl champion. So he’s a star in his own way,” Harrison said of Jason, 36.

“These two walk around – what rock stars they are,” he added of the Kelce brothers and the hype that accompanied them to the celebrity golf tournament in Tahoe. “It was almost unimaginable,” Harrison described, quipping, “You’d have thought Bono was there.”

Harrison said Kelce “had the time of his life” during ACC weekend, as fans watched the Chiefs star dance on the court to some of his girlfriend’s songs.

In addition to Harrison, Kelce also met his buddy Miles Teller on the route and greeted Teller’s wife Keleigh Sperry, a close friend of Swift.

Travis and Jason’s father Ed was also seen greeting fans along the route, and Jason’s wife Kylie Kelce stopped by to support her husband before returning to their three daughters.
