Kane Brown donates a new music studio to the Boys & Girls Club in Texas

Kane Brown is giving musical opportunities to children in Fort Worth, Texas. The country star just donated a brand new studio to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tarrant Country.

Brown has partnered with Major League Baseball’s Together All-Star Legacy initiative to renovate the club’s facilities, which include a new multi-purpose gymnasium.

The “Miles on It” singer was on hand for the unveiling and spent time with the kids, playing baseball, basketball and jamming in the new studio. He even got an exclusive show from one of the club’s resident music acts.

“We’ve done a lot of things for the Boys & Girls Club and a studio is something different, really cool,” Brown says in an interview about Playball.

“I saw a group called ‘The Boys’ perform and I thought they rocked it. They have a lot of confidence for someone their young age and I hope they keep it up,” he adds.

Kane Brown’s work with the Boys & Girls Club

Brown’s involvement with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America is personal: As a child, he often wished there was a safe place he could go after school where people would look after him and his brother. He later learned about the club and was immediately inspired by its mission.

“My brother was always getting in trouble because he had so much free time and we had no place to call home or people to look after us,” Brown said at the unveiling.

“That’s how I found out about the Boys & Girls Club. I wish we had that when I was younger. It makes me appreciate the Boys & Girls Club so much more. I’m glad you all have a place to call home. I’m glad the studio is finished.”
