AEROSMITH- "Finished with lenses" Photo book will be published in August

Wymer Publishing has announced the release of the new photo book “Aerosmith Done With Lenses” for August 30th.

Aerosmith Done With Lenses is a photographic document from the perspective of British photographer Tony Mottram. Tony photographed the band for various magazines over many years. As was often the case, only one photo was usually published. In the fast-moving world of weekly magazines, entire sessions were sometimes taken and left undeveloped.

Tony began filming Aerosmith around the time founding members Joe Perry and Brad Whitford returned, and the albums Done With Mirrors, Permanent Vacation and Pump were created.

This collection not only includes several shoots with the band in England, but also pictures from a session in the band’s rehearsal room in Boston, Massachusetts, with Steven Tyler and Joe Perry.

Scattered throughout are a mix of live and off-stage photos, including a session with former member Rick Dufay for his solo album; a selection of their 1990 performance at the Monsters of Rock Festival in England and two days later at London’s famous Marquee Club when Jimmy Page joined them on stage.

“Aerosmith Done With Lenses” is an opportunity to own a unique selection of Aerosmith photographs rarely seen before.

Softcover, 128 pages, A4, landscape, full color. This is the softcover version of the now out of print Aerosmith In Full Flight.
