Eddie Murphy finds action scenes more difficult in his 60s

At over sixty, Eddie Murphy finds it very exhausting to shoot action scenes.

The 63-year-old Hollywood star once again took on the role of the eponymous police detective in the long-awaited fourth part of the action comedy Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Fbut the action-packed film was more physically demanding for him than the previous films.

“They are harder when you are in your sixties, I can tell you that,” he told Australia’s WHO magazine.

The Haunted House Star admits that making movies is not as glamorous as people think.

“I remember how hard it was. Making a film is really hard work – you spend a lot of time sitting around waiting and doing the same thing over and over again. In the film it looks like fun, but in reality we worked day after day and night after night,” he recalls.

However, Murphy has some fond memories of filmmaking.

“I was 21 years old and had just come out of ‘Saturday Night Live,’ so this was all a shock to me. It was a crazy time. But my fondest memories of the original film are the reaction when it came out and seeing it in the theater with an audience,” he replied when asked what his favorite snapshot was from filming the original. Beverly Hill Cop Was.

Eddie’s daughter Bria, 34, made a cameo appearance as Officer Renee Minnick in the latest film – and he couldn’t be prouder.

“Bria did a great job and it was a lot of fun working with her. Another of my children, Bella, is also an actress and I was able to work with her on Coming to America 2that was great. I am so proud of all my children,” said the father of ten children.
