Prime Video brings Korean romantic comedy “No Gain No Love”

Korean romantic comedy No profit, no love will launch worldwide on Prime Video on August 26th.

Follow will air weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays starting in late August. In Korea, the show will air on tvN and the local streaming service TVING.

Starring Shin Mina and Kim Young-dae, the drama is about Hae-yeong, who plans a fake wedding with her neighborhood supermarket employee, Kim Ji-uk, in order not to miss out on a promotion.

Known as a model citizen of the neighborhood and working night shifts at a supermarket, Kim Ji-uk agrees to Hae-yeong’s proposal to be her fake groom for her fake wedding.

No profit, no love marks Shin Mina’s return to drama after two years. Her last drama was the surprise hit Our Bluesand she has appeared in other popular romantic comedies such as Hometown Cha-Cha-Cha, Oh my Venus And My girlfriend is a gumiho.

The series also stars Lee Sang-yi as Bok Gyu-hyun, a third-generation chaebol who is the CEO of the company where Hae-yeong works, and Han Ji-hyeon, who plays Nam Ja-yeon, a popular R-rated web novelist and Hae-yeong’s friend and roommate.

No profit, no love is directed by Kim Jung-sik (Strong Girl Nam-soon, Work later, drink now) and written by Kim Hye-young (Your private life).
