Destiny 2 Aberrant Action God Roll – PvP and PvE

Destiny 2 Aberrant Action God Roll – PvP and PvE

Firearms are still great in Fate 2and Act 2 of Episode: Echoes gives us a beautiful option with the Aberrant Action Solar Rocket Sidearm. This is the god roll for this beast.

How to get the different action

This weapon can be crafted, so the best way to get the God Roll you want is to farm the patterns until you can craft them yourself. This is actually good news, as pattern drops seem to be pretty common overall in Destiny 2 right now, and the odds are much better than randomly rolling from the perk pool until you get exactly what you want. You can drop the weapon during Battlegrounds and Breach Executables when you open the chests at the end of activities. You can also get it from random focused engrams at Failsafe in the HELM.

Possible Perk Pool

  • Advantage 1: Strategist, Pugilist, Beacon Rounds, Field Preparation, Healing Clip, Ambitious Assassin, Threat Detector.
  • Advantage 2: Snapshot Visors, Golden Tricorn, Demolitionist, Adventurer, Glowing, Reverberation, Harmony.
  • Characteristic of origin: Radiolarian Transposer – Quick finishers cause targets to explode and sink in a pool of radiolarian fluid.

Divergent Action PvE God Roll

  • Barrel – Quick Start – provides increased projectile velocity, which can make a real difference with these rocket sidearms.
  • Magazine – Flared magazine slot
  • Perk 1 – Healing Clip – Reloading shortly after dealing a finishing blow heals you and your nearby allies.
  • Perk 2 – Incandescent – When a target is defeated, all nearby enemies are burned. Stronger fighters and enemy guards inflict burns in a larger radius. If you have a grenade-focused build, you may prefer the Demolitionist here.
  • Masterwork – Speed - again, the faster the rocket, the better for everyone involved. Replace Reload if you’re worried about DPS or healing gap.

Heal Clip and Incandescent are fairly popular weapons that have both as an option for good reason. They deal a lot of damage, are great for mobbing and easy heals, and that’s all on top of the solid boss damage these rocket sidearms can dish out. Use a Solar class or a Prismatic that takes advantage of Solar damage for best results.

Divergent Action PvP God Roll

  • Barrel – Quick Start
  • Magazine – high-velocity bullets
  • Perk 1 – Healing Magazine – Reloading shortly after your final hit grants healing to you and your nearby allies. Beacon rounds if you have heals from elsewhere in your kit.
  • Perk 2 – Harmony – Final blows with other weapons improve the damage and performance of this weapon for a short time. You can also use the Golden Tricorn if you prefer.
  • Masterpiece – Speed

Honestly, it’s hard to recommend rocket sidearms in PvP, but if you’re looking to take one with you, this could be it. Heal Clip is still at the top, but the second column can be used to give us something that supports your playstyle. If you like to switch between weapons quickly, Harmony is the way to go. If you’d rather lead with the sidearm, get a kill, and then enjoy a grenade or melee kill for even more damage.
