“Stop,” Cher replies. “Now I see it.”

“I spoke to executive producer Leanne Farleigh and asked her what it would be like if Cher appeared in the shows?” says Russell ^ “TVB Europe: The best TVB Europe sites on the Internet”.

“And it ends with the shot of her in the Queen Vic singing karaoke with Barry. EastEnders. Because just this picture of the two of them together would be crazy.”

The dream soon became reality and Cher was on set making guest appearances on a number of bizarre shows.

“She was there for six hours and we had everything set up and just kept moving her back and forth,” says Russell.

“She was so good. You would have expected her to be ‘Cher’ when she was suddenly in a studio in West London with all these props, like we had a Master chef an apron made for her with her name on it.

“Everyone told me she wasn’t going to do that, Scott, but she just said, okay, no problem.”

“With Cher, we probably only got two or three takes of everything. It was all about getting everything ready and then going, and she just hung out on set and chatted with everyone. She was super friendly.”
