Olumide releases new song “New Keys”

Rick Ross producer Dizzee Beats is responsible for the instrumentation on Olumide’s summer single “New Keys.” What better way to show the streets that you’re officially out there and ready to be seen? By pulling up in a head-turning mode of transportation. On his latest track, “New Keys,” the East Coast MC takes a break from his more conscious content and captures a mood best played in the fast lane.

Speaking to Medium Creative Agency about his new song, the PG County native said, “It’s a feel-good track with a lot of bass and a lot of swagger. Whether you have something to be proud of or you just want to pull a stunt, this is the record.”

Olumide grew up in Maryland where he began making music on the side with his brother as a high school student. His talent quickly blossomed and it soon became clear that he was destined for greater things. Olumide began performing for any audience that would have him and quickly made multiple appearances at Baltimore Soundstage. Undoubtedly one of the most promising artists to come out of the DMV, Olumide has officially secured his place sonically with the release of #BeenDope (mixtape) which currently boasts millions of streams. Olumide has established himself on stage alongside hip hop heavyweights such as Curren$y and A Boogie wit da Hoodie as well as in the booth with other local entertainers such as WillThaRapper and Ciscero. He is a man on a mission, honing his craft and developing his impressive lyrical skills.
