Singers’ brand value rankings for June: BTS, Lim Young Woong, Seventeen and IVE

The boy group BTS once again took the top spot in the singer brand value rankings in June.

From 22 May to 22 June the Korean Institute for Brand Reputation Research analyzed big data from currently promoted singers in areas such as consumer engagement, communication, media activity and community activity to determine the brand value of each singer. In numerical terms, brand value provides clues as to which brands are most talked about, where those brands are most active and why.

In June, BTS beat out Trot singer Lim Young Woong to secure the top spot with a total of 9,048,607 brand points. Lim Young Woong followed closely behind in second place with 8,287,506 points, recording an increase in brand activity compared to last month despite his lower ranking. Third place went to Seventeen with 5,150,273 points, while IVE took fourth place with a total of 4,560,096 points.

Here are the top 30 singers in terms of brand value ranking for the month of June: BTS, Lim Young Woong, Seventeen, IVE, aespa, ILLIT, (G)I-DLE, LE SSERAFIM, IU, Young Tak, Lee Chan Won, Na Hoon Ah, BLACKPINK, DAY6, QWER, BIBI, Psy, Jang Yoon Jung, JY Park, TWS, Jung Dong Won, RIIZE, Oh My Girl, Sunmi, TWICE, Song Ga-In, Red Velvet, Taeyeon, Car the gardenAnd Daniel Kang.
