Julia B. And Iman Shumpert appear to be close to settling their ugly divorce…but they’re pressed for time and the clock is ticking.
The judge overseeing Teyana and Iman’s divorce is giving them until June 27 to put their divorce agreement in writing … according to new legal documents obtained by TMZ.
Teyana and Iman were in court Monday, Tuesday and Thursday this week to sort out a number of issues… and now the judge wants them to put it all in writing and draft a judgment that he can sign once and for all.
The judge wants a final judgment, parenting plan, and child support addendum/worksheet by Thursday noon…and if they don’t submit that, their case will be struck from their docket. That may sound a little harsh – but in reality…the judge is just telling them to put what we talked about on paper and present it to me to close the matter out of court.
While Teyana and Iman may still have to take their divorce to court if they miss next week’s deadline… this seems to be a good sign that their divorce is coming to an end soon.
TMZ uncovered the story … Teyana secretly filed for divorce in January 2023, more than 8 months before they announced their separation.
There was a lot of drama on the way … she is accused him to be under the influence of drugs when caring for their children and claimed that he cut off the utilities in her family home, which reportedly left her and her children without water… and much more.
They also argued over money… She claims he withdrew nearly $4 million from joint accounts and left her stranded on $200,000 worth of home improvements.
The hostility could soon be over…if they meet this deadline. Stay tuned …
