Many of the comments surrounding Yellowstone stems from Taylor Sheridan’s inability to nail his story. After creating a timeless tale of cowboys, ranchers, Indians and family drama, Sheridan simply doomed his brainchild to a lackluster fate by failing to keep his game up.
Now, 6 years later, the cowboy drama struggles under its own crushing burden as Taylor Sheridan returns from his trip to Kingstown, 1883, 1923, Special forces, Bass Reevesand more to finally give Yellowstone the farewell it deserves.
Taylor Sheridan’s final vision for Yellowstone
Taylor Sheridan was never one to hesitate when it came to speaking his mind – whether in interviews or in the script – Yellowstone begins to falter somewhat after he becomes caught up in the politics of the studio system and the unbridled ambition of the newly minted, Oscar-nominated and successful screenwriter and director.
In truth, however, you can’t blame Sheridan for following his hunger for stories. His imagination was faster than a studio production, and so Sheridan did what he does best – write a new story. Paramount had given him that platform and the freedom to pursue his ambitions; Yellowstone had the misfortune of being left behind as security.
The unstable situation resulting from the Yellowstone The creator’s long absence left the entire project stalled without direction. The entire series is full of gigantic plot holes and unresolved storylines that can only be the result of lame writing.
In addition, Kevin Costner bowed out after waiting 14 months without a script and a final shooting schedule. Without any of the patriarchs overseeing the production, Yellowstone thrashes around aimlessly while Taylor Sheridan rushes back to contain the chaos and get his show back on track for the final season.
The Yellowstone Final puzzle
After an exponential increase in hatred and violence between the two main characters of the series, Beth (Kelly Reilly) and Jaime (Wes Bentley), Yellowstone has a difficult road ahead of her. Taylor Sheridan now not only has to finish the series, but also bring the sibling drama to a fitting conclusion.
With only 8 episodes left until the end of the series, no amount of vengeful action can forgive the characters or accept the consequences of their actions. One faction is bound to be upset, no matter which party decides to save Sheridan.

Beth is not the reason we are waiting for the end of the show, the Kevin Costner drama and Taylor Sheridan‘s inability to create a good story has us waiting for the show to die. He’s successfully made Beth and Jamie the most boring, repetitive characters on the show and the plot holes have ruined any chance of the story going anywhere at this point.
Jamie knew what he was doing to his little sister and he went through with it. Beth is who she is because of it… Jamie created a monster and has now become a monster himself, but the script is so bad that I think the show will just be canceled. Kevin has had enough of it too.
For now, however, viewers seem determined to follow Cole Hauser’s Rip to the end. He’s the only character to show unconditional devotion to the patriarch of Yellowstone, and the only strong-willed character who doesn’t display a primal urge for vengeance or decency.
Put simply, Rip’s story arc remains the only acceptable storyline in Yellowstone, and if Taylor Sheridan wants to make his audience happy, then Rip is the right way to Yellowstone Finale without destroying it game of Thrones Level of season 8.
