RNC 2024, Day 2 updates: Rubio calls for fight ‘with our voices and our votes’

ABC News reached out to several Nikki Haley supporters to ask for their reaction to her speech at the RNC on Tuesday night.

Jack LaFrankie, a voter from Tennessee, told ABC News he agreed with much of Haley’s speech and would reluctantly vote for Trump if the election were held today.

Eli Raykinstein, a rising sophomore at Michigan State University, said her speech resonated with him.

“I also liked how she spoke to people who weren’t yet fully convinced about Trump, and not just the base he already has,” Raykinstein said.

Thalia Flores of New Hampshire said she would never vote for Trump.

“Never. She just bought herself a cabinet post – probably Secretary of State,” she said.

After Haley’s speech, Louis Hibbs, an undecided voter from Boothwyn, Pennsylvania, told ABC News that he was still undecided.

“I still can’t help but look back at the debate and how Biden stumbled over his own words,” he said.

Undecided North Carolina voter Roger Stewart told ABC News that Haley is a true Republican.

“I’m still undecided. That’s my official and honest statement. But I really liked her speech,” Stewart said.
