Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid jokes that Travis Kelce could be Taylor Swift’s “Waterboy” at the Eras tour shows

Andy Reid knows how Travis Kelce should spend his time at Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour. At a recent performance on The athlete‘S City of the Shovel PodcastThe head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs talked about his star tight end’s relationship with Swift and his appearances at her shows.

“I think it’s great for him. He can handle it. In fact, I think he probably loves it to some extent,” Reid, 66, said of the 34-year-old Kelce’s handling of fame. “I think it’s a great escape for him.”

While Reid said the way fame is handled “depends on the people involved,” he believes both Kelce and Swift, 34, are up to the task.

“She understands all of this. He’s kind of grown into it. I mean, he walks into a room and lights it up. Everyone is his best friend. Until you prove him wrong, everyone is a friend.”
