Prince William celebrates birthday at Taylor Swift’s London show

Prince William reportedly celebrated his birthday on Friday by taking his three children to Taylor Swift’s “Eras Tour” show in London.

The 42-year-old Prince of Wales was reportedly present at Wembley Stadium along with 10-year-old Prince George, 9-year-old Princess Charlotte and 6-year-old Prince Louis, according to royal reporter Roya Nikkhah.

Kate Middleton did not attend the event with her husband and children as she continues to undergo cancer treatment.

Although there are no official pictures of the family at the concert, grainy photos of the prince were shared on social media by a user who claimed to have seen him in the audience. She later added to the post that Swift wished William a happy birthday and “met him and his kids backstage.”

Prince William has previously personally supported the “Karma” singer and even appeared on stage with her at one of her concerts as part of a charity event at Kensington Palace in 2013.

“To this day, I don’t know what came over me,” William said in a 2021 podcast. “Honestly, even now I shudder at what happened next, and I don’t understand why I gave in. But honestly, when Taylor Swift looks you in the eye, touches your arm and says, ‘Come with me…’ I jumped up like a little puppy and said, ‘Yeah, okay, that seems like a great idea. I’m following you.'”

Swift arrived in London this week for three performances as she continues the European leg of her world tour.

The previous Friday, the Royal Guard played an instrumental version of Swift’s “Shake It Off” outside Buckingham Palace, just hours before the 34-year-old pop star was due to take the stage.
