Adele has given an update on her career plans in a new interview and revealed that she needs her “big break”.

Adele is a popular singer who has had great success with her four studio albums 19, 21, 25 and 30.

The singer is currently taking a break from her Las Vegas residency, which was a resounding success and attracted people from all over the world to her performances over the weekend.

Although she is currently taking a break from shows, she will return in a few months and has a jam-packed break as she will perform eight shows at a Munich venue.

While fans may have hoped that the end of her engagement was a sign for the singer to return to the studio and record her next album, the singer had some disappointing news for her fans.

The 36-year-old singer told the German magazine ZDF that she was planning a “big break”.

“I have no plans for new music at all,” she said.

“After that I want to take a big break and I think I want to do other creative things, at least for a short time.”

The singer’s last album, “30,” was released in 2021. Her previous album, “25,” came out in 2015, meaning fans had to wait a full six years for new content from the Rolling in the Deep singer.

In the same interview, the star also admitted that she is struggling with fame.

“I miss everything from before I was famous, but most of all, I think, the anonymity,” she confessed.

“I don’t like being famous. I love that I can make music whenever I want and that people are receptive to it and like it, because that’s pretty unimaginable… that kind of thing never happens to people.”

She added: “But I absolutely hate the fame side and I miss everything from before the incident.”

“The fact that people are even interested in my voice and my songs is pretty crazy. I don’t think that will ever become normal, you know? So it’s worth it… (it’s just about) finding the balance.”

The “Rumour Has It” singer is known for being very private about her private life. She prefers to keep her son out of the spotlight and only gives her fans an insight into her love life through her song lyrics.

The singer is currently living in the US with her partner and alleged husband Rich Paul and has admitted that she has no plans to return to the UK due to the bad weather.

Although she doesn’t like the rain in England, she certainly stays true to her English roots and made headlines when she was seen cheering on her country’s team at the European Championship final on Sunday.
