Rotary Club of Statesboro appoints President Matt Mathews, new board of directors and officers for 2024-2025

The Rotary Club of Statesboro elected Statesboro native Matt Mathews president and named new board members and officers for the 2024-2025 year in a ceremony last week. Mathews is an attorney and partner at Bruce, Mathews & Lavoie Attorneys At Law.

  • Jason Hendley, responsible for the Rotary Bulletin and emails
  • Mike Kennedy, Director of the Rotary Foundation

  • Matt Mathews, President
  • Bob Oliff, Chairman of the Board
  • Shannon Ramsey, Director of Community Service & Sunshine Report
  • Jaime Riggs, Membership
  • Brian Steele, Director of Public Relations
  • Amber Stewart, Club Administration
  • Robert Benson, President-elect
  • Perry Zeigler, Secretary

The new board brings a mix of long experience and fresh ideas and is ready to tackle the new year of service. The mission of the Rotary Club is to serve others, promote integrity, and advance understanding, goodwill, and peace in the world through its community of business, professional, and civic leaders.

The Rotary Club of Statesboro (Club 4215) was founded on December 1, 1936.
