Boys and Girls Club of Ukiah fundraiser reaches $46,503; goal is $65,000 – The Willits News

The Ukiah Daily Journal’s annual fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club of Ukiah has now reached $46,503, on track for its $65,000 goal.

Today’s new donations: Ron & Francine Selim $7,000 “in recognition of your good deeds”, Bruce & Carol Mordhorst $1,000, Cassie Taaning $1,000 in honor of Bob Hardie, Uta & Todd Telfer $200, Mary Elliott $100, Scott & Mimi Gaustad $50.

Today’s Community Donors: $9,350

Campaign total raised: $46,503

As we continue to work toward our annual goal of $65,000, the Boys & Girls Club of Ukiah would like to thank all of the individuals and businesses in the community for their support. “Your continued contributions, support and service allow us to provide quality programs in a safe, fun and friendly environment that is enjoyed by all.”

You can join other community members and organizations supporting the club by sending donations for this year’s UDJ fundraiser for the club to Boys and Girls Club of Ukiah, PO Box 67, Ukiah CA 95482.

Annual Chili Cooking Contest

Have you marked Friday, September 6th, for the club’s annual chili cook-off, sponsored by Granite Construction? It’s always a great community event with music, drinks, good chili and friendly competition.
