MINI Takes The States 2024 – Now with the MINI Motoring Club of America

This week, hundreds of MINIs and over a thousand MINI Cooper fans will take part in the nine-day event that begins in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and ends in Seattle, Washington. MINI Takes the States is held every two years and was launched in 2006. The sponsor is MINI USA, a subsidiary of BMW.

The theme for 2024 is “Camp Mini,” evoking nostalgia and the feeling of summer camp with friendships, barbecues, and the occasional campfire. This year’s charity partners are Keep America Beautiful and the American Camp Association.

According to the official website: “Summer Camp is on the road. MINI is back in a big way this summer. It’s time to want more from life and gather around the proverbial campfire with your fellow MINIacs! Big peaks, deep valleys, lush forests and rushing rivers – you’ll experience all this and more on our West Route.

The 9th edition of MINI TAKES THE STATES begins on Saturday, July 13th in Albuquerque, New Mexico and ends on Sunday, July 21st in Seattle, Washington. Pack up your MINI and get ready to reach new heights on this breathtaking route through the Western USA. In the meantime, check out the day tours below and don’t forget to book your hotel rooms.”

This event will mark the debut of the new, official MINI enthusiasts club, the MINI Motoring Club of America. The new organization is currently being formed and is seeking MINI enthusiasts as its first members while it works to develop exclusive benefits and experiences.
