Anchorage police on Tuesday identified a 30-year-old man who was shot outside a downtown bar over the weekend.

In a police update, Tahjeay Baldwin was pronounced dead at a hospital after being shot in the 700 block of West Fourth Avenue around 2:40 a.m. Sunday. Another man was seriously injured, they said.

Police said there were no other people they described as “suspects” who may have been involved in the shooting. Police spokeswoman Renee Oistad did not answer further questions Tuesday, including whether the men shot at each other or whether the injured man was still in the hospital.

No charges had been filed as of Tuesday, she said.

The shooting occurred outside the Gaslight Lounge, directly across from police headquarters, bar owner John Pattee told a reporter on Sunday. He said surveillance footage outside the bar showed six people who apparently knew each other getting into an argument in which two men fired shots.
