A new job advertisement from Gears of War E-Day Developer The Coalition has fueled speculation about a possible PlayStation release of the highly anticipated shooter. Xbox recently announced Gears of War: E-Day for Xbox Series X/S and PC at its big summer showcase in June, but if this job posting is any indication, a PlayStation 5 release could also be considered.

Gears of War: E-Day will be a prequel featuring younger versions of fan-favorite characters Marcus Fenix ​​​​and Dominic Santiago. As the name suggests, the game will cover the events of Emergence Day, when the Locust hordes were first unleashed on the planet. Finding software engineers who are familiar with developing for PSN is also something the Coalition has not done in the past. Gears of War title, as user nib95_ discovered on Twitter. At the moment, however, there is no other evidence that the coalition is secretly working on a PS5 port of Gears of War: E-Day. How little is currently known about Gears of War: E-Day and the Xbox and PC release window, it would be a little premature to draw conclusions about a potential PlayStation launch.
