Michael J. Fox celebrates 36th wedding anniversary with wife Tracy Pollan

Michael J. Fox celebrates his love for his wife Tracy Pollan.

In an Instagram post from Tuesday, July 16, Back to the Future The 63-year-old star celebrated his 36th anniversary with Pollan. Alongside a photo of the two sitting by the pool as young men, he wrote a sweet message to his long-time partner.

“Here’s to a lifetime of love with the love of your life,” the caption read. “Happy anniversary, T. Forever ♥️”

She also took to social media to celebrate the special day, posting a picture from when the former Family ties The actors were first married and another of them is now married.

“Same place, different year! Happy anniversary my love, we haven’t changed a bit 😘,” she wrote. “I love you!”

The couple has had a lot to celebrate lately. In June, Pollan turned 64 and on the same day her daughter Schuyler got married. A source told PEOPLE at the time that the wedding took place at the luxurious Hayfield Catskills in New York.

“The weather was absolutely perfect despite the heatwave,” said one onlooker of the big day. “They ate under a tent and it really did look like a picture-perfect garden party. They seemed like such a lovely, gentle family.”

Amid the excitement, Fox also made sure to wish his wife a happy birthday in a loving memorial post.

“It’s beautiful Tracy’s beautiful day in every way,” he wrote. “I love you and today is going to be amazing. Forever yours, Mike with so much love. Happy birthday. It’s going to be an epic day.❤️”

The first photo was a black and white snapshot of the actress posing, while the second showed the two sitting together outside and hugging.

The couple met for the first time in 1985 while filming Family ties and later tied the knot in 1988. They have a son together, Sam Michael, 34, twin daughters Aquinnah Kathleen and Schuyler Frances, 28, and 21-year-old daughter Esmé Annabelle.

At the Michael J. Fox Foundation’s “A Country Thing Happened on the Way to Cure Parkinson’s” event in early April, Fox revealed the secret of his long-term marriage to PEOPLE.

“It’s great to have a partner and someone who knows you (in a certain way) when everyone in the world thinks they know you. (Only) one person really knows you,” he said.
