K-Netizens react to KARA by including Hara’s voice in the song “Hello”

KARA will soon release a new song featuring the voice of their late member Goo Hara.

KARA (Park Gyuri, Han Seung-yeon, Nicole, Kang JiyoungAnd Heo Young-ji) released the pre-release track “Hello” from her digital single ‘I’ll do it, I’ll do it.

“Hello” is a ballad centered around the greeting “Ahn-yeong,” which means both “hello” and “goodbye.” The song captures the different emotions associated with greetings and goodbyes, such as the joy of seeing each other again and the sadness of saying goodbye. These feelings are conveyed through the members’ poignant voices.

According to her agency RBW (DSP Media), “Hello” is an unreleased track originally intended for KARA’s fourth full album “Full Bloom”, released in September 2013. A Japanese version of the song was included in Goo Hara’s Japanese single “Midnight Queen”, released in November 2019.

Goo Hara had recorded her parts in Korean before her death. To honor her memory and for their fans, the members decided to release “Hello” with their voices, creating a full six-member version for the first time in five years.

Fans reacted emotionally to the news with comments like:
“I am grateful that the members have not forgotten.”

“I haven’t heard it yet, but I’m already in tears.”

“It will give me goosebumps.”

“It is so sad.”

“I don’t think I can listen to it because it hurts too much.”

“It’s precious.”

“I’m so sad.”

“I miss her so much.”

“Their friendship is incredible.”

“I cry so much.”

“This is such a special song.”

“Am I the only one crying?”
