Sausage Party: Foodtopia Cast and Character Guide: Who Voices Who?

The entire cast of the movie “Sausage Party” has returned to reprise their roles in the spin-off sequel series “Sausage Party: Foodtopia,” now streaming on Prime Video.

It’s been nearly eight years since the R-rated animated film “Sausage Party” hit theaters. It’s about a group of food items running away after learning they’ll soon be satisfying someone’s appetite. This time, the group of perishable food items tries to build their own food society.

Seth Rogen as Frank

Actor, comedian and filmmaker Seth Rogen plays Frank, a sausage who escaped the trenches of grocery stores and now plans to create his own food utopia where perishable food can be given away for free, moldy or not.

Rogen has starred in several films and television series, including Superbad, First Time, Pineapple Express, Big Mouth, and more. He is an executive producer of Foodtopia and co-wrote the first episode.

Kristen Wiig as Brenda Bunson

Kristen Wiig plays Brenda Bunson, a hot dog bun and Frank’s love interest. She supports Frank and accompanies him on his mission to bring other food after the war against humans in order to create his nourishing city.

Wiig’s resume is packed with leading roles in popular shows and films such as “Saturday Night Live,” “Bridesmaids,” “Wonder Woman 1984,” “Ghostbusters,” “Despicable Me” and more.

Michael Cera as Barry

Michael Cera returns as Barry (a deformed hot dog) in Sausage Party: Footopia, but this time he’s a little torn about which side to be on after the war between food and humans. In the meantime, he’s taken on a mission to save lost food.

Some of Cera’s work can also be seen in “Juno,” “Superbad,” “Arrested Development,” and most recently, “Barbie.”

David Krumholtz as Kareem Abdul Lavash

David Krumholtz returns as Pita Bread character Kareem Abdul Lavash. Kareem used to feud with Sammy Bagel Jr. (Edward Norton), but they became friends during the Food-Human War. Now, however, Kareem appears in flashbacks in Sammy’s head as he deals with the tragic death of his friend.

Krumholtz previously starred in “Oppenheimer,” “Numbers,” “Lousy Carter,” “The Santa Clause,” and others.

Edward Norton as Sammy Bagel Jr.

Longtime actor and film producer Edward Norton returns to voice his character Sammy Bagel Jr., who is, yes, a bagel. In Sausage Party: Foodtopia, Sammy is still struggling with the loss of his enemy and later friend Kareem Abdul Lavash. In the meantime, he tries to ease his PTSD with edible concubines.

Norton’s career spans several decades and includes the hit films “Fight Club,” “American History X,” “Twilight,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Kingdom of Heaven” and more.

Will Forte as Jack

Will Forte joins the cast as a human named Jack, whom Barry controls and uses as an informant to find out how the human species deals with everyday life, including difficult weather conditions.

“Bodkin,” “Strays,” “The Last Man on Earth,” and “That’s My Boy” are some of the projects Forte has previously starred in.

Sam Richardson as Julius

Actor, comedian and producer Sam Richardson plays another new character in the series, an orange named Julius. For Julius, everything revolves around himself. He doesn’t care about the war for human food or his fellow humans and their well-being. As long as he’s doing well in the new food society, that’s all that matters.
