Luke Bryan’s passion for songs came early

Luke Bryan’s passion for songs came early

Luke Bryan is very passionate about writing songs and great songs. He doesn’t care if he wrote a song himself or if it was given to him; he just wants to record the best songs.

Luke told us in a recent interview that his passion for songs emerged as a teenager before he even realized it. He said: “When I heard a new song by Alan Jackson at the age of fourteen, it took over my whole life. It took control of me because I didn’t know that was my calling and that’s why I liked it so much.”

That’s still there: “Even today, if it’s a song by Luke Combs, Morgan Wallen or Lainey (Wilson) or someone else makes a great song, it takes over my world.”

As Luke prepares to unveil new music and announces a new album coming soon, he stokes the fire: “It’s about being excited about the song and the moment. If you have a great song, hopefully you’re smart enough not to ruin it in the studio.”

In addition to being an artist and entertainer, Luke is also a father. Those of us with teenage children know that they don’t usually think we’re “cool.” Luke Bryan, however, doesn’t seem to have that problem. His son Bo, who is 16, and 13-year-old Tate think their famous father’s charisma and career in country music are cool.

In a recent interview, Bryan was asked if his kids listened to his music. The proud father replied, “You know, they get in my truck and Tate will say, ‘Dad, play some of your stuff.'”

When asked how the superstar felt about it, he smiled and replied: “When your children ask if they want to hear your music, that’s something very special.”

In one of our interviews, Luke revealed what he was proud of: one of them was the way he handled fame. He said: “I could be a big star and live the life of a star, but I could also live as a real human being and not have to sacrifice much because I was a star.”

“I didn’t hide in the house and I didn’t leave the house because I was so scared that someone would want to take a photo while I was eating dinner.”
