Andy Reid perfectly explained why Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s relationship works

Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid knows a thing or two about Super Bowl victories, cheeseburgers and a certain whirlwind romance that has taken the world by storm.

In a preview of the brand new podcast “Scoop City” hosted by The athletics Dianna Russini and former NFL quarterback Chase Daniel Reid gave a thoughtful response to the dating lives of Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift.

As someone who has witnessed the development of Kelce and Swift’s relationship over the course of the NFL season, Reid mentioned an intriguing aspect that could explain how the two global superstars make it under the spotlight.

“(Travis) can handle it,” Reid said. “I think there’s a great opportunity for him, I said that about Taylor too. I mean, she comes to the games, she can kind of escape the need to The Show. And when he goes to her concerts, she’s the star and he can hang out there and be the opening act or the water carrier.”

Imagining Kelce, a three-time Super Bowl champion and one of the greatest tight ends of all time, as the “Water Carrier” (like Adam Sandler, who else?) at an Eras Tour concert may be hard to comprehend or jarring for some fans. Still, it seems like the Water Carrier and Swift are in it for the long haul.
