Report: Prince William takes his and Kate Middleton’s children to Taylor Swift’s London show

Prince William brought his and Kate Middleton‘s three children to Taylor Swift‘s Eras Tour concert on the first night of their London stop.

Accordingly abc newsWilliam and the royal children – Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 9, and Prince Louis, 6 – appeared at Wembley Stadium on Friday evening. It is also coincidental Williams 42nd birthdayKate wished him a happy birthday by sharing a sweet and candid photo of the future King of England with her children.

William has been a Swiftie for some time now. The Prince of Wales and Swift took the stage alongside Jon Bon Jovi at the Centrepoint Gala Dinner at Kensington Palace in London in November 2013, where they belted out “Livin’ on a Prayer.”

The royals were by no means the only celebrities in attendance. Travis, Jason and Kylie Kelce To BridgertonNicola Coughlan and Queer EyeJonathan Van Ness (who appeared in Swift’s music video “You Need to Calm Down”) gave no shortage of celebrities among the 80,000 visitors.

The appearance of the Royals (without Kate, who is resting the following her first public appearance at Trooping the Colour since the announcement her cancer diagnosis) comes not long after the Royal Corps of Army played “Changing of the Guard (Taylor’s Version)” in front of Buckingham Palace in honour of the Department for Tortured Poets The singer’s stopover in London.

The royal family also released a two-minute video of the guards playing an orchestral version of Swift’s hit “Shake It Off.”

“Can’t stop, won’t stop grooving,” the royal family captioned the tweet, adding three emojis: a saluting face, a drum and a trumpet. They also tagged the British Army, the Army in London and the Royal Corps of Army Music.

Swift will perform at Wembley Stadium from June 21-23 and then again from August 15-17 and August 19-20. This is not the first time that Swift’s concert on the Eras Tour has been graced by royal attendance. Last August Meghan Markle appeared during Swift’s stay at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles.

Prince Harrywas not present as Meghan’s husband was busy in Tokyo, Japan for a speaking engagement organized by the International Sports Promotion Society.
