This week, community meetings are being held throughout the community, giving you the opportunity to talk about the priorities you want from the next superintendent of Caddo schools. The previous leader, Dr. Lamar Goree, left the community after the school year to take a job in the Dallas Fort Worth metroplex.

McPherson & Jacobson has been hired to conduct a nationwide search and is hosting these meetings.

Here is the schedule for this week:

Tuesday, July 16
18:00 – 19:00

If you are unable to attend one of these meetings in person, you can give your opinion online. There is a survey available where you can give your opinion. Click here to find the online survey. The deadline for submitting this survey is July 19th.

This survey is part of the municipality’s initiative to ensure transparency and community participation in the decision-making process.

McPherson & Jacobson currently seeks and promotes top candidates and then conducts a thorough screening of candidates before presenting the applicants to the Board of Directors for evaluation.

The Board will then narrow down the selection and interview the finalists before making a selection.
