Author from San Diego, California, publishes children’s book

The Little Fairies Series: Book 1: A Very Long Journey, a new book by Caylee Snow, has been published by Dorrance Publishing Co., Inc.

A Very Long Journey is about an elf desperately trying to get home to his wife and children for Christmas. Fred the elf encounters others who are unwilling to help him through a snowstorm. He perseveres, but will Fred get home to his family in time to celebrate Christmas?

About the author
Caylee Snow’s inspiration to write came from her grandmother. Growing up, Snow would tell stories to her sisters. She would read books to her grandmother, who suggested she write books. Soon, Snow was carrying around a notebook and a folder with a pencil. Wherever she went, she wrote so many stories.

The inspiration for A Very Long Journey came from all these trips to the mountains. Snow did lots of fun things in the mountains with her family. Her parents love skiing.
