Jennifer Aydin said at the Grammys that her “WWHL” look was a tribute to Taylor Swift

Jennifer Aydin knew how to write the lyrics of “Clara Bow” and looked like “Taylor Swift”.

The star of “Real Housewives of New Jersey” paid tribute to Taylor Swift during her last appearance at See what’s happening live with Andy Cohen on Sunday, July 14th.

At the beginning of the episode, Cohen, 56, exclaimed that he and guest Gary Janetti looked good together in their bright linen pinstripe suits, but then Cohen quickly noticed the RHONJ Star outfit.

“You serve Taylor Swift,” Cohen told the Bravo star.

“Yes, it’s a tribute to Taylor Swift and what she wore at the Grammys. Just my own little interpretation of it,” replied 47-year-old Aydin.

“And it’s so nice of you to gift us Teresa (Guidice’s) hair tonight,” Cohen added.

“I mean, yes, listen, Teresa and I both have naturally curly hair,” Aydin said.

Aydin wore a white satin midi dress similar to the 34-year-old musician’s ensemble at the 2024 Grammys. Like Swift’s Schiaparelli look, Aydin’s dress featured a strapless corseted bodice wrapped in a draped skirt that was gathered and pleated at her left hip, accentuating her curves.

Aydin also took inspiration from the “Red” singer’s accessories, wearing a pair of long black gloves and black open-toe heels – although Aydin’s shoes included a bow. She also wore a black choker like Swift. However, Aydin’s necklace read “TTPD,” which alludes to Swift’s latest album. The Tormented Poet’s Departmentwhile Swift’s necklace featured a vintage Lorraine Schwartz watch set to midnight, alluding to the album midnight.

At the awards show on February 4, Swift wore her hair swept to the side in textured waves and completed the look with a sultry red lipstick. Aydin also wore her hair swept to the side, but as Cohen pointed out, she wore tight curls. While the curls were reminiscent of her co-star Giudice’s hairstyle, they could also be seen as an homage to Swift’s hairstyle early in her career. Aydin credited hairstylist Ash Rai and makeup artist George Miguel Arnone for her glamour.

After See what’s happening live In the episode, the show’s team uploaded a TikTok of Aydin singing and dancing to Swift’s latest hit, “Who’s Afraid of Little Old Me.” In the video, Aydin is pushed down a hallway in a cart while she convincingly performs the song.

“Who’s afraid of little old @Jennifer Aydin,” read the caption.
