Results of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series at Eagle Raceway

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series took place for the first time on Monday at Eagle Raceway in Nebraska, with a 40-lap race and a prize purse of $10,000.

Hudson O’Neal prevailed over Ricky Thornton Jr. in a hard-fought battle to the finish, leading 32 of 40 laps to earn his first win since joining SSI Motorsports last Tuesday. Thornton, making his second start with Koehler Motorsports, led laps five through 12 to finish second behind O’Neal, 1.516 seconds back.

Jonathan Davenport rounded out the podium in third place. Daulton Wilson was in third place until a collision on lap 21 knocked him out of the race. Drake Troutman was a tough opponent with his performance from 20th to 9th.
